Seeing the project through a fresh pair of eyes

You normally hear about our project directly from us, Sam and Katy, who run the project on the ground. Although we occasionally publish guest posts written by our research assistants or Earthwatch volunteers, the words and pictures you see on this blog are usually our own.

We thought that for a change it would be nice for you to get a slightly different perspective. Earthwatch volunteers Dick and Cathy Philips worked with us last month, and have put up a selection of their photographs here

Anna, one of our research assistants and a keen photographer also posts regular photographs from her daily life here at Lajuma on her Flikr page (including her picture-a-day project), and you can also check out her own blog here.

And this week we welcomed a new research assistant, Griet, who also writes her own blog, although its in Flemmish.  Google translate, anyone?
