Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Primate and Predator Project!!
Although we didn’t have a snowy Christmas at Lajuma, we did have a ‘white’ one. We had heavy white mist for most of the day. A troop of 75 baboons came to visit us while we were having our Christmas dinner in the garden which was great!
2012 will be an exciting year for the project. Amongst other things we are planning on radio collaring leopards, habituating a troop of vervet monkeys and analysing hairs found in leopard and brown hyaena scat samples. Keep in touch and keep following us both here and on facebook.
